September Obsession: It Was Me All Along by Andie Mitchell

listened to this audiobook twice and read the book once. That in itself, is a testament to how amazing this book is because I never read/listen a book more than once.

This book is the true story of one woman's childhood, adolescence and early adulthood all in regards to her relationship with food. As a person who has had some serious weight fluctuations, this book really spoke to me.

The audiobook is narrated by the author which is something that I love when choosing an audiobook. I love being able to hear the words in the tone and expression that the author intended them. Andie shares what her eating habits were in different scenarios of her life, but more importantly the emotions that go along with overeating.

Lately I have been really into non-fiction by women authors. So far I've read Bossypants by Tina Fey, Not That Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me by Mindy Kaling and It Was Me All Along. Mitchell's story is by far my favourite and I would highly recommend either format of this book. Can't wait to read more from this author in the future!
