A few weekends ago, I was lucky enough to get to check out the Redbull Crashed Ice event held downtown. It is a race where competitors skate through a race course that runs through the city. I checked out the
website, but still wasn't quite sure what to expect! Quebec City has hosted an event for a few years now and it is a really popular thing to check out!

Dinner at Thé au Sahara before the event! It is a Moroccan restaurant in walking distance to the Redbull event. The service was great and the menu had lots to choose from!

The city is decorated for the holidays. This is Le Capitole theatre which was across from the course's finish line. |

We watched the event near the finish line. It was hard to see the actual race course because of all the people but there was a big screen set up to see the skaters going through the whole course from start to finish. |
Redbull Crashed Ice also hosts events in Munich, Jyväskylä / Laajis (Finland), and St Paul, Minnesota. If any readers are in these areas, I definitely recommend going to watch! It was lots of fun cheering on the racers and seeing how Old Quebec is decorated for the holidays!
Thanks for reading everyone! Have a great week!
